Fiona Givens is a retired modern language teacher with undergraduate degrees in French and German and a graduate degree in European History. She is the co-author of The God Who Weeps: How Mormonism Makes Sense of Life, Crucible of Doubt: Reflections on the Quest for Faith, and The Christ Who Heals.

Deanna is one of the most popular guests of the Leading Saints podcast. She has created a remarkable career in leadership developing training highly influential leaders across the world. She has served as a stake Relief Society president and currently serves as the ward Relief Society president.
SARA STRONG
Former Mission Leader
Sara was born in Southern California in a non-traditional Latter-day Saint home. She became active in the church during her teenage years. She will be sharing her unique leadership journey, specifically during her time leading the Arkansas Bentonville Mission from 2018 to 2021.
BROOKE RASMUSSEN
Marriage & Family Therapist
Brooke lives in Spokane, WA with her husband and 8 children. She is a therapist and is earning a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. Brooke has traveled the world, living in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
KARRI STOKER
Event Director
Karri brings a remarkable history of participating in and organizing women's retreats. Karri is a life coach and speaker who has helped women overcome remarkable challenges in life. We are lucky to have her lead out in this women's retreat!

You are probably most familiar with Kurt's voice as the host of the Leading Saints podcast. As the Executive Director of Leading Saints, Kurt is helping behind the scenes with this retreat and is excited to meet the women leaders who will attend this retreat. He will also be facilitating the some live interviews at the retreat.

Are food & lodging part of the pricing?
Yes! Both are included in your weekend retreat package. You’ll also receive a notebook and goodies when you arrive.
What if I have a special diet?
Meals are freshly prepared on site with gluten and dairy free options. If you have a severe allergy please let us know after you register.
Is parking available?
There is ample parking right on site for all the cars.
What if I need a ride from the airport or other location?
Let us know where you need a ride from and we’d be happy to assist you in coordinating ride shares with other guests.
Will I be sharing a bed with anyone?
Every guest will have her own bed.
Do you have group pricing?
Yes! We have group rate 10% discount for parties of 4 or more for any combination of rooms selected (scholarships excluded).
Is the retreat only for Latter-day Saint Women?
This women’s retreat will focus on Christian principles informed by Latter-day Saint doctrine and perspectives. All women of any faith are welcome to attend.
Why a Leading Saints Women's Retreat?
The makeup of the Leading Saints audience is fascinating...
It's no secret that there are more formal leadership callings for men in the church. Which would make one assume that a platform like Leading Saints attract a majority audience of men.
But it's actually just the opposite.
As we monitor the audience demographics of Leading Saints, it is actually women who dominate the audience. There are probably a variety of reason for this, but the most important reason very likely would be a deep desire among Latter-day Saint women to lead and have an influence even if they do not have a formal leadership calling.
The are few (if any) gatherings or experiences women can have where space is created to seek further inspiration and direction related to their own personal leadership mission.
